Compassion first
We walk with the vulnerable - children, women, and elders who cannot afford care.
About Us
A charity CBO bridging the healthcare gap on Mfangano Island.
About Us
Mfangano Island Care and Compassion CBO bridges the gap in medical health and wellness by creating awareness and advocacy on non-communicable diseases, chronic illness, and care for people who cannot afford mainland treatment. About 30,000 people and over 10,000 families live on the island - only a quarter can afford basic healthcare.

Mission & Vision
Create awareness and advocacy on non-communicable diseases, chronic illness in children and adults, and walk with families who cannot afford basic healthcare. We deliver medication, support home visits, and counseling in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
A Mfangano Island where vulnerable children, women, and elders can reach care without a boat ride to the mainland being the difference between life and delay.
We are a registered Community-Based Organization. Diagnosis and treatment run through Ministry of Health facilities. We deliver medication and support - not diagnoses - and focus on the needy: NCDs, palliation, mental health, reproductive health, and environmental care.
