Gender based Violence
Mfangano Island care and compassion ministry, cbo, is a Christian organization and does not believe/ hold view or treat individual based on their sexual traits or gender. We believe in equity and equality and seek to sensitize and create awareness on importance of putting to stop; gender based violence, intimate partner violence, physical violence and sexual violence. Mental Health
As an organization, our clients dealing with chronic illnesses, be it children or adults have the privilege of having mental health counseling sessions from a mental health professional. We also take these services to the community to create awareness and sensitize the community to seek heal to avert the complications that come with mental health.
Violence against Children awareness
- Mfangano island care and compassion ministry is keen to child protection against violence. Our goal is to ensure that all children under our care are free from cyber-bulling, neglect, sexual, and domestic violence, and harmful traditional practices.
